This demo will look at creating charts from data you have on a worksheet.
So on this worksheet we have the totals from the different days of the week. I'll expand Column E. And by selecting my data, I can insert a chart by moving to the ribbon and selecting the Insert tab. From the Insert tab, I can include a pie chart or a line chart. I'm going to select Column. And from the sub category, I'm going to select clustered column. You see instantly, you have a chart displaying the sales for the different days of the week.
If you want to change the design of that chart that we have displayed. Notice that now on the ribbon we have an additional tab called Chart Tools. Within Chart tools, we have the Design, Layout and Format tab. Under the design tab, we can expand the gallery to show different types of charts available to us. If I move my cursor down to style 28, we can see the graphics has changed.
Again if I click on that drop down to change the style, this time I'm going to select style 42, we can see know that the graph is now updated.
